Role Objective: The HR Business Partner (Emiratization) will serve as a strategic liaison across the UAE branch, driving effective implementation of HR initiatives and programs in alignment with the Bank’s objectives. Operating cross-functionally, the HRBP will proactively engage with business and support units to deliver high-impact HR solutions, resolve stakeholder queries, and provide expert guidance on people-related matters. The job holder will ensure consistent and compliant HR service delivery in collaboration with specialized HR functions, while adhering to regulatory mandates, government directives, and internal policies. The HRBP will also support operational and administrative requirements of the branch, enabling business continuity and fostering a high-performance culture. Oversee the PRO function of the branch, ensuring compliance with the UAE labor laws, immigration mandates, and government regulations, including coordination with the entities, as necessary. Detailed Roles and Responsibilities: • Collaborate with the relevant HR sections to ensure timely and consistent delivery of HR support services within defined SLAs. • Partner with Business and Support Unit Heads to assess current and future manpower needs, enabling proactive workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies. • Manage Emiratization efforts by coordinating with internal stakeholders to meet nationalization targets in line with regulatory expectations. • Stay abreast of regulatory updates from CBUAE and other government bodies; communicate implications to HR leadership and ensure timely integration into HR practices, including staffing and operational deliverables. • Review and localize HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with UAE labor laws and government guidelines, promoting operational efficiency and legal compliance. • Liaise with the Recruitment team and hiring managers to facilitate sourcing, interviewing, and selection of internal/external candidates based on approved job/person specifications. • Oversee offer generation and issuance in accordance with approved Compensation & Benefits (C&B) guidelines. • Manage pre-employment checks including service certifications and reference verifications to ensure data integrity. • Administer end-to-end onboarding, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance of documentation, and facilitate smooth integration of new hires through structured induction programs. • Partner with the OD team to support performance management cycles, including goal setting, self-assessments, evaluations, and normalization processes. • Contribute to salary review discussions and ensure transparent communication of outcomes to relevant stakeholders. • Collaborate on the development and issuance of job descriptions to the branch staff. • Oversee and support career development initiatives through structured L& D programs. • Provide guidance on HR policies, employee relations matters, and disciplinary procedures, conduct investigations and prepare reports with actionable recommendations. • Represent HR in grievance hearings and corrective action meetings, ensuring fair and compliant resolution of employee concerns. Educational Qualifications & Experience: • University graduate with a degree in Business, HR or any other related discipline. • Master’s degree in management any other related discipline will be an added advantage. • 08-12 years of total experience, entailing responsibilities pertaining to the specific area of discipline. • Experience in Generalist HR operations/administration in a supervisory capacity. • Emiratization experience in Financial Services or related industry • Experience in Banking or Operations roles will be an added advantage Show more Show less
