Job Brief: We are seeking experienced Senior Civil Engineers to join our project team and work on the construction site for a landmark high-rise development in Riyadh & Makkah. The successful candidates will be responsible for the direct execution, coordination, and delivery of civil, structural, and supporting architectural works, ensuring that construction activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with project specifications and quality standards. The role requires hands-on site leadership, technical expertise in high-rise construction, and the ability to manage subcontractors, direct labor, and multidisciplinary coordination throughout all phases of construction. Key Roles & Responsibilities: • Act as the Main Contractor's/Developer's site engineer, taking full responsibility for direct execution, resourcing, and delivery of civil and structural works — not limited to a supervisory or consultancy role. • Supervise and execute civil and structural works (substructure, superstructure, concrete works, waterproofing) as per approved drawings and specifications. • Support and contribute to the execution and coordination of architectural works, as the Civil Engineer's scope is not limited to civil/structural works alone. • Review structural drawings, shop drawings, and method statements for civil works prior to execution. • Conduct and record formal site work inspections at each construction stage (excavation, formwork, reinforcement, concrete pour, backfilling) prior to sign-off and progression to the next stage. • Coordinate with quality, safety, and planning teams to ensure civil and architectural works progress as per schedule and standards. • Monitor material and workmanship quality against project specifications and the Saudi Building Code. • Manage direct labor crews and/or subcontractors performing civil and architectural works, and verify progress and quantities for payment certification. • Prepare and verify quantity take-offs and measurement of executed works for interim payment certificates and variation/change order evaluation. • Coordinate directly with the Technical Team and design consultants on RFIs, site queries, and design clarifications. • Supervise and mentor Civil Engineers and site labor assigned to respective work fronts. • Maintain daily site records, progress reports, and as-built documentation. • Ensure adherence to health and safety requirements during civil and architectural works activities. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. • PMP certification is considered an advantage. Experience: • Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering and construction. • Proven experience in high-rise tower projects. • Experience may be gained anywhere within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. • Strong background in reinforced concrete structures, substructure, superstructure, and architectural works. • Previous experience with leading developers or Tier-1 contractors is highly desirable.
