Naval Architect

Role Overview Design and oversee the construction of marine vessels and offshore structures, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and classification society standards. Key Responsibilities • Develop general arrangements, hull forms, stability analysis, and structural layouts. • Coordinate with structural, piping, and E&I engineering teams during design and construction. • Perform hydrostatics, hydrodynamics, and resistance & propulsion calculations. • Ensure designs comply with IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, and classification society requirements. • Conduct mandatory site visits as per project requirements. • Deployment in the client office and relocation as per project requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications • AutoCAD (2D/3D) for drafting & detailing • Proficiency in stability software (AutoHydro, Maxsurf) Preferred Qualifications • Rhino 3D, ShipConstructor, AVEVA Marine, CADMATIC • OrcaFlex, GHS, MOSES for simulation & offshore load analysis Show more Show less
