Role Description The Landscape Architect and Swimming Pool Design Specialist will design and develop outdoor environments and pool concepts for luxury residential and hospitality projects in the United Arab Emirates. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating landscape and pool layouts, preparing detailed drawings and 3D visuals, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design feasibility and quality. The role involves site visits, design reviews, and alignment with client expectations, project budgets, and local regulations. The specialist will also contribute to project presentations, technical documentation, and design standards for outdoor and aquatic spaces. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates. Qualifications • Demonstrated expertise in landscape architecture for high-end residential and hospitality projects, including master planning and detailed site design. • Strong swimming pool and water feature design skills, with knowledge of structural, mechanical, and safety considerations for aquatic environments. • Proficiency in design and visualization tools such as AutoCAD, Revit or similar BIM software, SketchUp, and rendering tools like Lumion or Enscape. • Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers) and managing design intent through project execution. • Understanding of GCC climate, materials, planting design, and local building codes and regulations relevant to landscape and pool design. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a closely related field. • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate client requirements into clear, buildable design solutions. • Proven ability to work on-site, conduct regular site inspections, and resolve design and construction issues promptly. • Experience with luxury or ultra-prime projects and familiarity with FF&E coordination for outdoor spaces is highly beneficial.
