THE OPPORTUNITY The Principal – Cloud Technical Product Management will be responsible for defining, driving and managing the strategy, roadmap and lifecycle of private cloud products and platforms across Core42’s cloud ecosystem. You will work closely with engineering, architecture, operations and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade private cloud capabilities aligned with customer requirements, market trends and organizational goals. You will lead the productization of cloud infrastructure services, virtualization platforms, container technologies, automation capabilities and cloud-native services, while ensuring scalability, security, governance and operational excellence across the platform portfolio. Your Key Responsibilities • Define and drive the vision, strategy and roadmap for Core42’s private cloud product offerings. • Translate customer, business and market requirements into product roadmaps, product requirements documents and prioritized backlogs. • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to deliver private cloud Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, container and Software as a Service capabilities. • Lead productization initiatives for enterprise virtualization and container platforms, including OpenShift and Kubernetes-based technologies. • Drive Infrastructure as Code and automation capabilities using technologies such as Terraform and Ansible. • Define cloud security, identity, governance and network segmentation requirements within product architectures. • Embed service-level agreements, high availability, disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities into cloud product designs. • Collaborate with customers, sales, engineering, operations and executive leadership teams to align product strategies with business goals. • Develop go-to-market strategies covering pricing, packaging, positioning and service differentiation. • Ensure governance, compliance and policy frameworks are integrated into cloud service offerings. • Analyze market trends, customer feedback and the competitive landscape to continuously enhance Core42’s cloud products. • Drive the adoption, customer success and lifecycle management of private cloud platforms. • Support executive presentations, customer workshops and strategic product discussions. • Work closely with technology partners and vendors to evaluate and integrate emerging cloud technologies. What We’re Looking For Required Skills and Qualifications • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or a related field. • A minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud technologies, infrastructure platforms or technical product management. • Strong expertise in defining and delivering private cloud strategies and enterprise cloud platforms. • Demonstrated experience translating technical and business requirements into product roadmaps and deliverables. • Deep understanding of enterprise virtualization, containerization and cloud-native platforms. • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, automation and orchestration technologies. • Experience with cloud security, identity management, governance, compliance and network segmentation models. • Knowledge of service-level agreement management, high availability, disaster recovery and business continuity planning. • Strong stakeholder-management and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Experience in product lifecycle management, go-to-market planning, pricing and positioning. • Excellent communication, leadership and presentation skills. Preferred Skills And Qualifications • Hands-on expertise with Red Hat technologies, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat OpenShift and related Red Hat tools. • Proven experience leading the end-to-end development and launch of enterprise-grade private cloud platforms. • Strong understanding of Kubernetes ecosystems and cloud-native technologies. • Relevant professional certifications, such as: • VMware Certified Professional or VMware Certified Design Expert. • Red Hat Certified Engineer. • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration. • Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer. • AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud architect certifications. • Product-management certifications from organizations such as Pragmatic Institute or AIPMM. • Experience working within hyperscale, sovereign cloud or regulated environments. • Strong analytical and strategic-thinking capabilities. • A customer-focused mindset, with the ability to bridge business and technical requirements.
