Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Primary Responsibilities • Responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and components. • Providing design support for various electrical services (HT/LT/ELV/ICA, etc.), including design calculations, conceptual design drawings, and detailed electrical schematics and diagrams. • Overseeing the project’s conception, design, and specifications, and managing scheduling, estimating, and securing materials. • Ensuring proposals comply with the company’s quality procedures, client requirements, and relevant/latest industry standards, international codes, planned timelines, allotted budget, company strategy, and goals. • Ensuring all paperwork submissions (e.g., Vendor Approval Submission, Project Reports, Schedule submission) and work executed on site are in accordance with specifications, drawings, and project requirements. • Monitoring and carrying out quality checks on progressively completed work. • Coordinating with clients and consultants on technical requirements, and attending technical discussions and meetings with authorities, the developer, and contractors. • Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and own teams, including group representatives, for project implementation, ensuring work is built correctly and delivered on time. • Representing the company at technical meetings with clients and stakeholders, and serving as the company's technical representative to clients and suppliers. • Working closely with the procurement team and suppliers. • Performing other ad hoc duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor. Key Qualifications & Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role in the field of Building Service Engineering, along with a minimum of 03 years of work experience in the Maldives. • Fluency in MS Project, Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office • Good communication and public relations skills • The selected candidate will be required to work on our projects in the Maldives Show more Show less

Proficiency in MS Project, Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. Good communication and public relations skills. Willingness to work on projects in the Maldives.

Coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams; attending technical meetings with authorities, developers, and contractors. Representing the company at technical meetings and serving as the technical liaison with clients and suppliers. Collaborating with procurement. Performing other ad hoc duties as assigned.
