IT Support Specialist

Job Description - 12,000 AED / month Our client is a leading private investment and support office in Abu Dhabi. As part of its operations, the organisation supports a diverse portfolio of businesses and projects, including education environments. They are now seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support across their IT environment. This is an on-site role supporting staff and students across the organisation’s IT environment. You will provide hands-on technical support across hardware, software, connectivity, user access, classroom technology and general IT-related issues. Key Responsibilities • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and classroom technology • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, Wi-Fi and connectivity issues • Manage user accounts, access permissions and password-related requests • Support Microsoft 365, Windows and Active Directory environments • Install, configure and maintain IT equipment and software • Maintain accurate IT asset and support records • Escalate complex technical issues where required • Coordinate with external vendors when necessary • Ensure user requests are resolved promptly and professionally Requirements • 6–8 years of experience in IT support, desktop support or helpdesk operations • Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and basic networking • Experience supporting printers, Wi-Fi, audio-visual equipment and end-user devices • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and customer-service skills • Experience working within a school or education environment is preferred • Relevant IT qualifications or certifications would be advantageous This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join an established education organisation and play a key role in supporting the technology environment for staff and students.
