Job Description As Financial Manager for the Middle East region, you will lead the finance function across a highly diverse and complex business environment encompassing 17 Business Units across 9 countries and three Business Lines (Freyssinet, Sixense, and Nuvia), representing approximately €50M in annual turnover. This role goes beyond traditional financial management, requiring the ability to navigate multiple regulatory, tax, banking, and compliance environments while ensuring alignment with VINCI Group policies and governance standards. You will serve as a trusted business partner to operational leaders, providing financial insights that drive profitability, cash flow optimization, risk management, and informed decision-making. The position requires managing a geographically dispersed Finance & Accounting team of 10–12 professionals, coordinating financial operations across multiple entities, currencies, and jurisdictions. In addition, you will play a key role in supporting business transformation initiatives, enhancing financial reporting capabilities, and driving the implementation and adoption of digital tools such as ERP systems, Salesforce, Power Query, Power BI, etc. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural, project-based construction environment, demonstrating the ability to balance strategic financial leadership with strong operational execution and stakeholder management across all levels of the organization. Key Challenges and Complexities Financial oversight across 17 Business Units in 9 Middle Eastern countries. • Supporting three distinct Business Lines with varying operational and commercial requirements. • Managing complex project accounting and cash-flow considerations within the construction sector. • Coordinating compliance, taxation, banking, and audit requirements across multiple jurisdictions. • Leading a multicultural and geographically dispersed finance team. • Overseeing contract management, payment terms, guarantees, joint ventures, and collections. • Delivering meaningful business analysis and performance insights to support management decisions. • Driving continuous improvement through digitalization and finance process enhancements. Degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in finance and accounting management, including at least 5 years of significant exposure to international taxation, external audit, transfer pricing, treasury, and international compliance matters Ability to manage multi-entity, multi-currency, and multi-country financial reporting in an international group environment Strong command of IFRS, internal controls, audit processes, and group reporting standards Very good level in Excel, ERP software, PowerQuery and PowerBI Experience with digital finance transformation, reporting automation Proven the ability to lead, develop, and coordinate multicultural finance teams across several countries. Strong analytical, organizational, and attention to detail skills. Experience within the construction or engineering sector would be a strong advantage Fluency in English and Arabic is a plus.
