Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior Electrical Design Engineer role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will lead the design and development of electrical systems for building and infrastructure projects, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems. Daily responsibilities include preparing detailed electrical drawings and specifications, performing load calculations, coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role also involves reviewing junior engineers’ work, collaborating with clients and contractors, participating in technical meetings, and supporting value engineering and design optimization throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design and Design Engineering. • Candidates should possess solid knowledge in Electrical Engineering and Electricity. • Candidates should possess expertise in Power Distribution and related building services systems. • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline. • Several years of experience in electrical design for buildings or infrastructure, preferably in a consultancy or design firm. • Proficiency with relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, electrical calculation tools). • Strong understanding of international and regional electrical codes and standards. • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior team members. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
