Events Technology Operations Manager

Role Summary You will be the hands-on technical lead for our event operations, driving excellence from the warehouse floor to the event site. Your mission is to oversee the end-to-end operational lifecycle, ensuring seamless technical installations, managing complex logistics across the UAE and KSA, and building a high-performing network of freelance technicians to support our expanding project portfolio. Key Responsibilities • Technical Deployment: Personally oversee and execute on-site hardware installations, including setting up computers, screens, and complex cabling systems. • Logistics & Resource Management: Manage end-to-end logistics for hardware and personnel across the UAE and KSA, ensuring equipment readiness and timely deployment. • Operations Strategy: Develop and implement standardized operational processes for your team of operations executives to ensure consistent service delivery. • Technical Coordination: Coordinate with freelance technicians for installation support and build a robust, reliable network of external technical talent. • Vendor Relations: Visit supplier warehouses to perform quality control and ensure seamless integration of external technology with our systems. • Inventory Control: Maintain rigorous inventory management of all warehouse equipment and assets. • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of operation executives, ensuring they adhere to established operational workflows. Qualifications & Experience • 3–6 years of experience in technical operations management within events technology or large-scale AV integration, specifically across the UAE and KSA markets. • Proven technical proficiency in hardware setup (computers, displays, cabling, and networking). • Demonstrated experience in managing supply chain/logistics and warehouse inventory for event equipment. • Strong leadership background in managing operational teams and external freelance networks. • Bachelor’s in Engineering, IT, or a related technical field. A relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred. Show more Show less
