We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized quantity surveyor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating seamless communication between various stakeholders involved in the BOQ process, ensuring projects are delivered on time and in line with our high-quality standards. The quantity surveyor will collaborate with designers, project managers, and other key team members to drive efficiency and excellence in our projects. Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities: • Reviewing construction plans and preparing bill of quantities. • Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals. • Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors. • Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents. • Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies. • Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required. • Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets. • Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders. • Preparing plans for the purchase of materials for the projects. • Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving materials to be purchased. • Maintaining and updating supplier information. • Maintaining good relations with sub-contractor and negotiating contracts. Quantity Surveyor Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Management, or similar will be preferred. • 8+ year experience in a fit out company as quantity surveyor. • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. • Sound knowledge of construction. • Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills. • Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
