About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Software Engineer – DevOps to drive DevOps, cloud automation, and site reliability practices across enterprise-scale technology platforms. This role focuses on designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks, and deployment strategies while ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities • Lead DevOps and cloud adoption initiatives, partnering with architecture and security teams to define scalable solutions. • Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated deployment processes. • Drive reliability, performance, monitoring, capacity planning, and incident response across critical platforms. • Implement and maintain cloud-native and hybrid cloud environments using AWS, Azure, and related technologies. • Champion Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevSecOps best practices. • Collaborate with development, release engineering, and security teams to enhance deployment, change management, and operational efficiency. • Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift. • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and environment management processes. Required Experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, cloud migration, or system administration. • Strong experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, or hybrid cloud environments. • Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, Gradle, Nexus, Artifactory, and Azure DevOps. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools including Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and CloudFormation. • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, and microservices architecture. • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go. • Experience with monitoring and logging tools including Grafana, Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, AppDynamics, or similar. Preferred Qualifications • Relevant certifications in DevOps, Cloud Platforms, Kubernetes, Agile, or SAFe. • Experience designing and supporting multi-cloud environments. • Active participation in technical communities, forums, blogs, or open-source projects.
