NOW HIRING A PROJECT CONTROLS MANAGER – HIGH SPEED RAIL The position: The Project Controls Manager will report to the Program Director and be responsible for managing a multi billion AED high speed rail project. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain the integrated master project schedule across all workstreams. • Monitor project progress against programme, budget, and key performance indicators. • Produce weekly and monthly project controls reports for senior management. • Identify schedule and cost risks, recommend mitigation measures, and track corrective actions. • Manage project cost control, forecasting, cash flow, and earned value analysis. • Review contractor programmes, progress updates, and supporting documentation for accuracy. • Coordinate with engineering, commercial, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project objectives. • Establish and maintain project controls procedures, reporting systems, and performance dashboards. • Analyse project trends and provide early warning of potential delays, cost overruns, or resource constraints. • Support change management by assessing the impact of variations on programme, cost, and overall project delivery. Requirements: • 15+ years of experience • Previous rail experience is mandatory • GCC experience is desirable, not mandatory • Previous experience managing projects valued AED 1bn+ • A stable work history working for tier 1 engineering consultants & contractors • A track record of delivering projects from start to finish • Hold a relevant industry degree Show more Show less
