This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and turning market insight into commercial success. Already based locally in the Middle East or Asia Pacific region, you will play a pivotal role in expanding ROVOP's presence, strengthening key client partnerships, and driving utilisation and revenue growth across those markets. The Opportunity As Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for leading regional business development and sales activities, developing strategic customer relationships, and positioning ROVOP as the partner of choice for subsea and offshore operators. Working closely with operational, technical, and leadership teams, you will develop and execute growth strategies that deliver sustainable commercial success and enhance our presence across the region. What You Will Be Doing Driving Business Growth • Lead regional sales and business development activities to achieve ambitious revenue, utilisation, and growth targets. • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities through proactive engagement, networking, and market intelligence. • Manage the complete sales cycle, from opportunity identification through to contract negotiation and award. • Develop and execute strategic sales and account plans that deliver measurable business growth. • Secure approved vendor status and establish Master Service Agreements (MSAs) with key target clients to maximise ROV utilisation and long-term value. Building Strategic Relationships • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, partners, and industry stakeholders. • Engage confidently with senior decision-makers and deliver compelling commercial and technical presentations. • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, identifying challenges and developing tailored solutions that meet their operational needs. • Represent ROVOP at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities throughout the region. Understanding the Market • Maintain a strong understanding of subsea, vessel, offshore, and ROV market dynamics. • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regional developments to identify emerging opportunities and risks. • Provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations that support business planning and decision-making. Collaborating for Success • Partner closely with technical, operations, and asset teams to develop integrated customer solutions. • Support marketing initiatives aimed at generating leads, strengthening brand awareness, and enhancing market presence. • Share customer feedback and market insights to continuously improve our service offering and commercial effectiveness. • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and the development of revenue and utilisation targets across the business. Leading with Integrity • Prioritise and manage sales activities in line with agreed business objectives. • Provide regular performance updates and strategic insights to senior leadership. • Champion ROVOP's values, ethical standards, and commitment to responsible business practices in every interaction.
