The role is responsible for working within FP&A to assist with month end, forecasting and budgeting as well as strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple financial analysis projects at the same time. At month end, you will be responsible for budget, projection, and actual variance commentary. Responsibilities Strategic Contribution • Supporting the FP&A Director to translate departmental strategy into actionable items Budgeting & Financial Planning • Support the annual budget process end to end – from issuing templates to departments through to board approval and system upload. • Act as custodian of budget transfers • Prepare and recommend the sectional budget and monitor performance versus budget, keeping activities in line with approved guidelines. • Own and manage the SGA budgeting and control • Asist in preparation of any forecasts and tracking of cost initiatives • Ensure compliance with all company and financial policies and procedures. • Liaise with financial and non-financial stakeholders to support their business decisions Continuous Improvement • Lead continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices, considering global standards, productivity and cost reduction. • Utilizing AI tools Reporting • Ensure all sectional reports are timely, accurate and meet the company’s requirements and quality standards. • Support the production of reports to group • Support the financial analysis of the business Other • Support the collation of data where applicable from the business • Complete any ad hoc analysis Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or a related field. • Master’s degree and/or professional postgraduate certificate (preferred). • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel • Strong quantitative financial skills • 5+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years at a supervisory level. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels. • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
