Senior Data Architect

They are looking for an experienced Data Architect to design and evolve the data foundations that power advanced analytics, machine learning, and Generative AI solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement scalable enterprise data architectures across cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP). • Develop modern data lake, lakehouse, and data warehouse solutions to support AI and analytics workloads. • Define data models, integration patterns, governance frameworks, and data quality standards. • Partner with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Software Engineers, and Product teams to deliver AI-driven products. • Design and optimise real-time and batch data pipelines using modern data engineering technologies. • Establish best practices around metadata management, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance. • Drive architectural decisions for high-volume, high-performance data platforms. • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to support Generative AI, LLMs, and advanced analytics initiatives. Requirements • 7+ years' experience in Data Architecture or Senior Data Engineering roles. • Strong experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms within an AI, Machine Learning, or advanced analytics environment. • Expertise with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP). • Experience with technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, SQL, and Python. • Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT, data governance, and master data management. • Experience supporting AI/ML pipelines and production data environments. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Nice to Have • Experience working with Generative AI, LLMs, vector databases, or RAG architectures. • Knowledge of MLOps platforms and machine learning lifecycle management. • Cloud certifications or architecture certifications.
