Enterprise Data Architect – AI & Databricks We are looking for an experienced Data Architect with 10+ years of experience designing and delivering modern, enterprise-scale data platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Databricks and cloud-native data architectures, with a proven track record of building scalable, high-performance data ecosystems. You will be responsible for designing end-to-end data platforms, including Medallion Lakehouse architectures, that support advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven use cases. A strong background in AI is essential, with experience designing architectures that enable feature engineering, MLOps, and Generative AI workloads. You should be comfortable working across both architecture and engineering, translating complex business requirements into secure, scalable, and production-ready data solutions. Key requirements • 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or related fields • Proven expertise designing and implementing Databricks Lakehouse platforms, including Medallion (Bronze, Silver, Gold) architecture • Strong experience with cloud-native data platforms, preferably on Microsoft Azure • Hands-on experience designing data platforms that support AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI use cases • Deep understanding of data modelling, data governance, security, and enterprise-scale data platform design • Experience with Delta Lake, data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and performance optimisation • Ability to collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-wide data initiatives • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence both technical and business audiences Show more Show less
