About this role: • Landscape Design (Conceptualization, Visualization): Develop innovative, functional, and aesthetically appealing landscape designs for public spaces, commercial properties, and residential developments. Plus Creating detailed site plans, sketches, and 3D renderings using required software to present design concepts. • Client Consultation & Presentation: Communicate design proposals to clients, stakeholders, and decision-makers, incorporating feedback into final plans. • Site Analysis, Feasibility Studies & Innovative Landscape Solutions: Conduct site assessments, analyzing topography, soil conditions, climate, and ecological factors to determine project feasibility. Research and implement the latest trends in landscape architecture, sustainable urban design, and climate-responsive planning. Use AutoCAD, SketchUp, GIS, and other design software to produce detailed site plans, blueprints, and 3D visualizations. • Environmental & Sustainability Integration: Incorporate sustainable landscaping solutions, including native plant selection, water-efficient irrigation systems, and eco-friendly materials. Ensure designing landscapes that enhance urban environments and promote green spaces. • Budgeting & Cost Estimation: Prepare cost estimates, material lists, and budget plans to ensure projects remain financially viable. • Regulatory Compliance & Permitting: Ensure that designs adhere to local zoning laws, environmental regulations, and industry standards. • Collaboration with Technical team: Work closely with architectural and engineering teams to integrate landscape features into broader infrastructure projects through Collaborating with urban planners, civil engineers, and construction teams • Innovate & Research New Trends: Stay updated on the latest advancements in landscape architecture, urban ecology, and smart landscaping technologies, such as software and AI tools. Information Security responsibilities: • Comply with Aldar Estate and Basatin’s Information Security Policies • Be aware of and fulfil their information security responsibilities • Ensure whoever handles sensitive company information have taken the Security Awareness Training • Know how to report a security incident (to IT ServiceDesk or InfoSec). • Not Disable his/her OS firewall and/or Antivirus • Restrict use to authorized purposes, Protect access accounts, privileges and associated passwords. • Accept accountability of his/her individual user accounts, and maintain confidentiality Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree (Mandatory): Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture (BLA) or Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture (BSLA) • Master’s Degree (Preferred but not mandatory): Master’s in Landscape Architecture (MLA) – Ideal for advanced design expertise, sustainability planning, and urban development projects. • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in landscape architecture, urban planning, or site development Proven experience in designing, executing a variety of landscaping projects • Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as • AutoCAD • Revit/BIM • Adobe Suite - InDesign • Photoshop • Rihno, Sketchup, 3d Max .. • Lumion, Enscape, D5, Vray • AI tools • Strong understanding of landscape architecture principles, construction techniques, and horticulture. • Excellent creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green building principles. • Familiarity with local UAE landscape regulations and environmental considerations is preferred Show more Show less
