Job Title Product Manager Job Scope The Product Manager is accountable for driving sales of assigned products through a well-defined strategy and developing sound partnerships with existing and potential vendors. S/He works towards optimizing sales volumes, maintaining vendor relations, acquiring new partnerships and coordinating marketing programs and activities in line with the Solution Teams. Main Duties And Responsibilities Technical and Operations • Define the product strategy and roadmap on the assigned product line • Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities • Work closely with the Sales Managers, in every territory, to map and develop the right channel for the product • Specify market requirements for current and future product(s) by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to potential and existing customers • Lead the vendors’ relations in alignment with the company’s strategy • Identify potential partners for the product(s) • Provide and manage complex quotations • Ensure a proper storage, tracking and control of inventory through an accurate stock management system • Oversee the implementation of targeted programs and marketing activities • Develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts and market development reports in line with business objectives • Ensure the highest level of support and engagement with partners and respond in a timely manner with appropriate resources in order to meet customers’ needs • Help build a solid customer database and increase the number of customers • Maintain and increase sales for the entire product line to generate long term revenue and profitability • Promote the product(s) and the company within the region Position Requirements Education • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related fields. Experience • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in channel development and product lifecycle management. • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills. • Good knowledge of enterprise backup and data protection solutions such as Commvault, Dell, Rubrik, Cohesity, or similar technologies. • Strong experience working with a value-added distributor (VAD) or partner ecosystem, with an established network in the UAE channel market.
