Dairy Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Dairy Operations Manager to lead the development, optimization, and expansion of our dairy operations. This strategic leadership role is responsible for translating business demand into efficient, safe, and cost-effective dairy production while ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare, milk quality, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will play a key role in building and scaling a modern dairy operation, establishing best-practice production processes, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring seamless integration between farm operations and dairy processing. Key Responsibilities: • Lead day-to-day dairy farm operations to ensure consistent, high-quality milk production and reliable supply to processing facilities. • Establish, optimize, and scale dairy production systems, SOPs, and operational standards to support business growth. • Drive expansion projects, facility commissioning, and operational readiness for new dairy production facilities. • Partner with the Commercial team to align production plans with customer demand, market requirements, and new product initiatives, ensuring production capacity supports business objectives. • Collaborate closely with Production, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted operations and on-time delivery. • Ensure excellence in herd health, nutrition, breeding, biosecurity, milk quality, and animal welfare. • Manage operational budgets, monitor KPIs, and implement initiatives to improve productivity, cost efficiency, and overall farm performance. • Oversee feed planning, veterinary supplies, inventory management, and resource availability to support continuous production. • Build, lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, or a related discipline. • 10–15+ years of progressive dairy operations experience, including leadership of large-scale commercial dairy farms. • Proven experience in setting up, expanding, or modernizing dairy production facilities and leading operational transformation projects. • Strong expertise in herd management, nutrition, reproduction, animal welfare, milk quality, and dairy production systems. • Demonstrated success in improving operational performance, productivity, and cost efficiency through data-driven management. • Experience working closely with dairy processing/manufacturing operations is highly desirable. • Previous GCC or international dairy farming experience is preferred.
