As Regional Sales Director, IMEA, you’ll lead the global expansion effort into the IMEA region, execute and develop market entry strategies, and ensure business cases are reached. Responsibilities & opportunities: For an ambitious and accomplished sales/regional sales manager/director in an industrial automation, process instrumentation company or similar, PR electronics offers significant professional and personal opportunities; Both to advance your career into higher level Sales Management. The PR IMEA organization currently has offices in 1 country (Saudi Arabia) and is in process of setting up a new legal entity in India (Chennai). Each subsidiary will be headed by a general manager who runs a team of internal and external sales engineers focused on developing direct sales. Furthermore, PR is active in the whole region through an International Channel Sales Manager who overseas all indirect sales channels across the region. You will be supported by a dedicated marketing and customer support team The Regional Sales Director is heading our IMEA organization, and some of the key responsibilities are: • Drive delivery of agreed sales plans and budgets across the region. • Heading IMEA sales management in close collaboration with the general managers and international channel sales manager. • Execute and develop the sales strategy. • Lead, mentor, and motivate the general- and international channel sales managers to elevate leadership competencies consistent with company values while achieving individual and collective sales targets for the subsidiaries and the defined strategic initiatives. • Conduct monthly business review meetings with detailed review of monthly reporting and link to competence development ensuring continuous focus on enhancing the abilities of the direct reports as well as their sales team. • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and identify areas for improvement. • Prepare regular reports for CSO on sales activities, achievements, and challenges. Being a visible PR Ambassador and developing proud employees who live and breathe for PR, the brand and the vision. • Being an active and engaged participant in the global Sales Management team. The candidate: To succeed in this role, you come with considerable sales experience and expertise within the industrial automation/process instrumentation business or similar. The ideal candidate will have a proven sales track record, coupled with strong product knowledge specific to the relevant industry. Familiarity with B2B sales is crucial, alongside robust business acumen and proven leadership skills. You are experienced manager with proven track record in managing managers. You like to travel, as the job requires you to frequently travel to visit subsidiaries and customers. Here are some key requirements for the position: • 5+ years of sales management with highly engineered technical products and/or solutions using value selling techniques. • Proven track record of identifying and growing business at a sales management level. • Experience in process measurement and control, automation, motion control and industrial process is preferred. • Solid experience in business development is a plus. • A dedicated user of CRM systems to support customers and build market intelligence on a sales management level. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience as a technician, field or maintenance engineer or similar, combined with relevant sales education is preferred. • A candidate living in the region is preferred (Can be based anywhere in the region). • Fluent in English is mandatory.
