Job Purpose The Product Manager for Cash Management in Corporate Banking is required to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing bank’s product strategy, driving product development and enhancement initiatives impacting the overall revenue, product penetration, wallet share and customer experience. Strategy should be aligned with overall strategy of the department and the bank. The Product Management will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, Technology, Risk, Legal, Marketing and Compliance, to identify market opportunities and create or refine product maps to ensure successful product delivery. Principal Accountabilities • Responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive product strategy for Cash Management, aligned with goals and market trends. This should be in consideration of client needs, regulatory requirements, and internal processes. • Responsible for devising segment level strategies to develop a plan to penetrate cash management products and increase wallet share in the respective portfolios • Responsible for planning and stipulating a comprehensive marketing plan and collateral management w.r.t cash management products • Responsible for planning and implementing training calendar for frontline coverage teams • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and potential opportunities for product innovation. • Coordinate product launches and enhancements, ensuring effective go-to-market strategies, product positioning, pricing, and communication plans to maximize adoption and revenue generation. • Define and maintain the product roadmap, outlining key milestones, timelines, and resource requirements by performing a capacity planning for successful product launches and enhancements. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, to translate product requirements into detailed specifications, ensure the successful configuration and customization of bank’s products and oversee the development process. • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Operations, and Technology, to coordinate resources, resolve dependencies, and drive timely implementation deliverables. • Oversee the configuration and setup of transaction banking products, working closely with technology teams to ensure accurate system setup and integration with client systems, if required. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including implementation plans, user guides, and status reports, to facilitate effective knowledge sharing and project tracking. • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, including revenue, customer satisfaction, adoption rates, and market share, and identify gaps and define areas for improvement and optimization. • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains in the implementation lifecycle, contributing to the enhancement of overall implementation practices and methodologies. • Engage with key internal and external stakeholders (as and when required) to understand their needs, gather feedback, and incorporate it into product development and enhancements. • Ensure products and initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, managing risks and maintaining a robust control environment. • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to a team of product specialists and for internal stakeholders including sales team to support complex customer requirements of key customers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. • Mentor the implementation team by providing guidance and support on implementing all the cash management products at the customer’s end and handhold the customers by providing initial comfort. • Serve as the expert point of contact for clients during the implementation process, maintaining regular communication, providing status updates, and addressing any concerns or issues that arise. • Manage complete life cycle of Cash Management products. • Prepare the product proposition to participate in the Events and industry awards Experience & Qualification • Bachelor’s degree in business management or engineering or finance, or a related field. • Min 10 years’ experience in Banking Industry/Products • Min 5 Years’ experience in Cash Management Products • Should have worked as Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) and worked across diverse coverage teams Show more Show less
