Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EPC Site Engineer with a specialization in Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical leadership and coordination of E&I aspects across various EPC projects, ensuring successful delivery from conceptual design through to commissioning. This role requires a strong understanding of both electrical power systems and instrumentation & control systems within an industrial project environment. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage all Electrical and Instrumentation engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle (design, procurement, construction, commissioning). • Develop, review, and approve E&I design documents, specifications, datasheets, and drawings, including SLDs, wiring diagrams, control narratives, P&IDs, and instrument lists. • Ensure all E&I designs and installations comply with relevant industry standards, codes (e.g., NEC, IEC), and project specifications. • Prepare technical bid evaluations for E&I equipment and services, providing recommendations for vendor selection. • Manage vendor interfaces, review vendor documentation, and ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials. • Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines (process, mechanical, civil) to ensure seamless integration of E&I systems. • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for E&I scope. • Identify potential technical risks and develop mitigation strategies for E&I systems. • Provide technical support and guidance during construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases, resolving any site-related E&I issues. • Oversee the preparation of detailed E&I work packages for construction and installation contractors. • Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and quality assurance procedures in all E&I activities. • Prepare progress reports, technical reports, and maintain comprehensive project documentation for E&I scope.
