Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Heavy Vehicle Driver role based in the United Arab Emirates. The Heavy Vehicle Driver will safely operate company heavy vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and machinery to and from client sites in sectors such as construction, marine, and industrial services. Responsibilities include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring proper loading and securing of cargo, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns. The role involves following assigned routes and schedules, complying with local traffic laws and company safety policies, and completing delivery documentation and logs accurately. The Heavy Vehicle Driver will collaborate with operations and logistics teams, support equipment mobilization and demobilization at project sites, and contribute to a safe and efficient working environment. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong heavy vehicle operation skills, including safe driving practices, maneuvering in challenging site conditions, and adherence to traffic and safety regulations. • Candidates should possess basic vehicle maintenance and inspection skills, such as checking fluid levels, tires, and brakes, and reporting or coordinating necessary repairs. • Candidates should possess load handling and site logistics skills, including safe loading/unloading, securing equipment, understanding weight limits, and following delivery schedules. • Candidates should possess communication and teamwork skills, including clear interaction with supervisors, clients, and site personnel, and the ability to follow instructions and work within a team. • Candidates should possess organizational and record-keeping skills, such as maintaining trip logs, delivery documentation, and vehicle records accurately. • Valid heavy vehicle driving license for the United Arab Emirates and a clean driving record. • Prior experience driving heavy trucks or equipment transport vehicles, preferably in construction, industrial, or marine sectors. • Knowledge of UAE road regulations and familiarity with industrial and construction site safety practices. • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required by project schedules. • Physical ability to Show more Show less
