Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Heavy Vehicle Driver role based in Abu Dhabi. The Heavy Vehicle Driver is responsible for safely operating trucks and other heavy vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment as assigned. Daily tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, following designated routes and schedules, complying with traffic and safety regulations, and maintaining accurate delivery and log records. The role also involves coordinating with dispatchers or supervisors, interacting professionally with customers or site personnel, and reporting any mechanical issues or delays promptly. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong truck driving skills and proven experience operating heavy vehicles or trucks. • Candidates should possess a valid CDL Class A or equivalent heavy vehicle license, in line with UAE regulatory requirements. • Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, supervisors, and site staff. • Candidates should possess customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and represent the company positively. • Good knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices. • Ability to read and follow maps, delivery schedules, and written instructions. • Physical ability to load, unload, secure cargo, and perform basic vehicle checks. • Previous experience driving in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage. • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
