Position Summary Green Sands is seeking an experienced, results driven Technical Sales Manager to lead business development and sales initiatives across Dubai and the Northern Emirates. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting solutions that help clients achieve operational efficiencies and sustainability goals through advanced wastewater treatment technologies. This role combines technical expertise with commercial insight, requiring frequent field engagement with customers, consultants, contractors and government entities clients. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, provide technical consultation, and position company solutions as the preferred choice for wastewater treatment and reuse applications. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market share across the assigned territory. • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within customers, consultants, contractors and government entities sectors. • Generate and manage a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market intelligence. • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and successfully close sales opportunities. Customer Engagement & Technical Support • Conduct regular site visits to assess customer requirements and recommend suitable wastewater treatment solutions. • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients, consultants, and stakeholders. • Provide presales technical support to ensure proposed solutions meet customer needs. • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction, retention, and repeat business. Market & Industry Development • Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the water and wastewater sector. • Identify new market segments and strategic partnerships to support business growth. • Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, seminars, and networking events. Account & Team Management • Manage key accounts and develop long-term customer engagement strategies. • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and forecasts using CRM systems. • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses for senior management. • Collaborate closely with project delivery team to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction. Qualifications & Experience Education • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline. • Additional qualifications in Sales, Business Development, or Water Treatment Technologies are advantageous. Experience • Minimum 10 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or account management within the water, wastewater, environmental, or related industrial sectors. • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities. • Work experience in wastewater treatment companies is highly desirable. Skills & Competencies • Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment technologies. • Excellent technical, commercial, and negotiation skills. • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities. • Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies. • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications. • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
