This role is critical in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of high-end residential projects, ensuring value for money and effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities - Cost Management & Control: Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for luxury residential projects. - Contract Administration: Review, prepare, and negotiate construction contracts, variations, and claims while ensuring compliance with legal and company policies. - Procurement & Tendering: Manage the tender process, evaluate bids, and select suppliers and subcontractors to ensure best value and quality. - Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to monitor project progress and costs, providing timely advice to avoid overruns. - Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports and cost analyses for senior management and stakeholders. - Risk Management: Identify potential commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect company interests. - Compliance: Ensure all quantity surveying activities adhere to relevant standards, legislation, and company policies. - Continuous Improvement: Promote best practices and continuous improvements in quantity surveying processes and systems.
