This role is responsible to support Flight Operations relevant to use and certification of Electronic Flight Bag (EFB). Key Responsibilities: - Assist in enabling overall EFB operations, including but not limited to EFB hardware, software, content, IT stability. - Assist with hardware and software configuration management. - Carry out testing to ensure only a valid version of the application software and current data packages are installed on the EFB system. - Assist in regular audits and random quality checks. - Carry out procedures for the maintenance (hardware, software) of the EFB. - Provide support for the effective and efficient ongoing logistic support on all e-enabled aircraft within Flyadeal, meeting company EFB requirements. - Support new aircraft EFB and coms related components, future proofing the EFB operations. - Participate in discussions with Airline Purchasing Department for e-enabled products and services provided to the Company and maintain all vital records relating to EFB administration. - Provide First line IT support for pilots and escalate as required to EFB Administrator / IT Department. - Represent the Company at meetings as required by EFB Administrator and keep informed of developments within the industry. - Provide operational support by ensuring all aircraft documents are properly maintained, updated, and readily available across the fleet. - Take full responsibility for all standby EFB devices at the assigned base, ensuring they are updated, properly configured, and ready for immediate operational use, while providing necessary support to pilots before their flights. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in any related field or equivalent diploma. - Demonstrable experience of working with networked computers. - Experience of IT Networking and Apple IOS. - Organized and detail oriented. - Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs.
