About the role
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Refrigeration Trailer Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain refrigeration units installed on refrigerated trailers (reefers).
Requirements
- Key Responsibilities
- • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigerated trailers and refrigeration units.
- • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system faults.
- • Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, sensors, and control systems.
- • Repair refrigerant leaks and recharge systems.
- • Conduct routine service activities including oil and filter changes.
- • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify equipment issues.
- • Maintain repair and inspection records.
- • Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
- Qualifications & Requirements
- - Diploma or Technical Certification in Refrigeration, HVAC, Mechanical, or Electrical Technology.
- - 2–5 years of related experience.
- - Experience with Thermo King or Carrier Transicold units preferred.
- - Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot control systems.
