Category All Clear Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create Alert × Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Apply now » Electrical Engineer Date: Oct 21, 2026 Location: SA Job Description: Job Title - Electrical Engineer Job location (Department/Plant) - Maintenance - Alkhafa Reporting to - Section Head – Electrical/ Maintenance Manager Job Summary Works under the direction of Section Head to plan & supervise all preventive and corrective maintenance, monthly /annual outage and overhauling work activities on plant Electrical equipment. Roles & Responsibilities Assigns preventive and corrective maintenance jobs as per the direction of Section Head. Supervises and co-ordinates activities of maintenance staff. Maintains records, prepares reports and composes correspondence related to work. Executes work order through CMMS (SAP) and co-ordinates with planning engineer for job completion and technical matters. Maintain such communications and relations as are necessary to report on the status of matters requiring action and to ensure that corrective action is undertaken. Helps Maintenance Manager in executing corrective and planned maintenance with due regard to annual scheduled maintenance plan To perform technical evaluation of quotations received from purchase department and recommend appropriate choice. To prepare purchase requisitions for spare parts and consumables ensuring budgetary constraints and arrange strategic spares availability to cope up with the maintenance requirements. Review and recommend new maintenance procedures and work instructions. Supervise, direct and co-ordinate the activities of all personnel assigned to his area. To carry out any other duty assigned to him by the management from time to time. Ensure Environmental Aspect-Impact and Hazard Risk Assessment are carried out, controlled and updated Implement, monitor and report IMS objectives, Targets and programs Provide necessary resources for effective implementation and sustenance of IMS Report IMS performance to the management periodically Ensure Legal compliance with respect to their scope of activities Ensure identification of root cause for the identified non conformances/ deviations and to implement corrective actions/Preventive actions Identify the competency gap for their subordinate personnel and implement necessary actions. Carry out annual performance evaluation of reporting employees Responsible to ensure the compliance to legal requirements, contractual and organizational requirements Provide on-the-job training to new employees and evaluate their OJT Performance Identification, documentation and control of hazards in assigned work area Ensure aspects identified are monitored and operational controls are followed Report deviations in Integrated Management System, identify root cause and implement corrective and preventive actions Reporting of emergencies and incidents and near misses Effective resource utilization Perform other duties as assigned Job Specifications Educational Desired - Bachelor’s engineering degree (B.E) in Electrical for four-year College or university. Minimum Experience Minimum - 4 - 8 years related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferable - 10 years of related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Skills Awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management system principles Knowledge of applicable legal requirements Hazard Risk assessment Aspect Impact assessment Investigating skills Knowledge of spillage containment Knowledge of managing HSE emergencies Knowledge of identification, classification and disposal of waste Knowledge of Emission Monitoring Be able to lead the maintenance group. Excellent communication skills in English Language Computer literate. Able to use Ms Outlook for correspondence. Be able to use SAP as end user. Desired certification / Job specific skill / Training ISO9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001 awareness/working knowledge is preferred Work Condition While performing the duties of this position, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. In high precarious places he may be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or chemicals risk and electrical shock.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but very loud conditions do exist. Assigns preventive and corrective maintenance jobs; supervises and coordinates maintenance staff; maintains records, prepares reports and correspondence related to work. Executes work orders through CMMS (SAP) and coordinates with planning engineer for job completion and technical matters. Reports on status of matters requiring action; ensures corrective actions. Supports Maintenance Manager in executing corrective and planned maintenance per annual scheduled maintenance plan. Conducts technical evaluation of quotations from procurement and recommends appropriate choice. Prepares purchase requisitions for spare parts and consumables within budget; arranges strategic spares. Reviews and recommends new maintenance procedures and work instructions. Supervises and coordinates activities of personnel in area. Performs other duties as assigned.
