Key Responsibility: Advanced Maintenance & Troubleshooting Lead preventive and corrective maintenance on automation systems such as AS/RS, conveyors, sorters, PLCs, and robotic pick/pack stations. Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and control system issues, coordinating with OEMs or engineering teams when needed. Calibrate and test automation components including sensors, drives, motors, and actuators to ensure optimal performance. System Operations & Escalation Support Act as the escalation point for critical automation failures; provide timely resolution to minimize operational disruptions. Collaborate with operations and IT teams to address system interface issues, including WMS and WCS faults. Support in planning equipment shutdowns and system upgrades with minimal impact to distribution operations. 3. Compliance, Safety & Continuous Improvement Ensure compliance with HSE, electrical, and automation safety protocols. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate safety or reliability risks. Drive root cause analysis (RCA), suggest design or process improvements, and lead implementation of corrective actions. 4. Documentation & Team Support Maintain detailed logs of interventions, part replacements, firmware upgrades, and software patches in the CMMS. Train and mentor technicians and junior team members on troubleshooting techniques, SOPs, and safety measures. Contribute to project documentation during automation expansions or system retrofits. Desired Experience: 5-7 years of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of warehouse automation systems or industrial equipment. Working knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, PLC diagnostics, and mechanical drive systems. Experience with WMS-integrated automation equipment and HMI interfaces is preferred. IT literacy for basic diagnostics, system updates, and maintenance tracking. Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation; certifications in PLC/HMI systems preferred.
