Senior Quantity Surveyor - (RC)

JASARA PMC is actively seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our esteemed team, dedicated to delivering outstanding program management solutions across various civil engineering projects. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the financial management and contractual administration of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while adhering to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities - Oversee quantity surveying activities throughout the project lifecycle, from inception to completion. - Perform detailed cost estimation, procurement, and cost control functions. - Prepare and manage bills of quantities and other pre-contract documentation. - Conduct site visits to assess work progress and cost implications. - Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to budgets and schedules. - Draft and review contracts, manage contractual claims, and resolve disputes effectively. - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quantity surveyors, promoting a collaborative team environment. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, ideally within the civil engineering sector. - Professional membership (e.g., MRICS) is an advantage. - Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement strategies, and cost management principles. - Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a keen attention to detail. - Proficient in relevant software applications and tools for quantity surveying and cost management. - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
