Requirements

• QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• -
• Industry certifications such as CCIE, CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or Aruba Certified are preferred.
• -
• Experience with enterprise wireless (e.g., Aruba, Cisco), ClearPass, and SD-WAN are highly desirable.
• -
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with WAN optimizers, firewalls, VPNs, and IP networking protocols
• -
• Familiarity with satellite communication technologies (LEO/GEO) is an advantage.
• SKILLS
• -
• Strong understanding of IP networking, routing, switching, and subnetting.
• -
• Experience with enterprise wireless design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• -
• Ability to monitor, interpret, and act on network alerts and trends (e.g., via SolarWinds).
• -
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot complex network topologies and protocols.
• -
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• RESPONSIBILITIES
• Shall Include but not limited to:
• - Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network systems including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and wireless infrastructure.
• - Support and optimize satellite communication (LEO/GEO) connectivity for remote and offshore sites.
• - Administer and configure network access control systems (e.g., Aruba ClearPass).
• - Utilize network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds for proactive issue detection and performance optimization.
• - Implement and maintain DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, and firewall rules.
• - Support and configure WAN optimization appliances and technologies to enhance remote connectivity.
• - Perform advanced network configurations including VPN, BGP, OSPF, ACLs, QoS, and NAT.
• - Manage and respond to security threats using IDS/IPS and assist in network hardening activities.
• - Assist in capacity planning, documentation, and upgrades of network infrastructure.
• - Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement projects.
• - Provide on-call and after-hours support as needed and support remote site connectivity issues.
