Role We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid role, reporting to the Director, Software Engineering in the Cloud Browser Isolation Product Team department. You will lead the Cloud Browser Isolation team within an engineering organization that built the world’s largest cloud security platform. Bringing your vision and passion to our team of experts, you will enable organizations worldwide to harness speed and agility with a cloud-first strategy while managing the delivery of highly scalable security services. What you’ll do (Role Expectations) - Lead and mentor a team of 8-10 software engineers while managing performance and personal career progression plans - Drive critical product and roadmap initiatives for the Cloud Browser Isolation team - Ensure high-quality outputs across the entire lifecycle, from initial feature development to long-term system reliability - Oversee capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure predictable and efficient delivery - Act as a technical leader ensuring the team’s contributions align with our global multitenant architecture goals Who You Are (Success Profile) - You thrive in ambiguity. What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) - Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 8+ years of professional experience in software development and delivery - 2+ years of experience building, leading, managing, and mentoring high-performance engineering teams - Hands-on experience working with Chromium and technical proficiency with C++, Kubernetes, and Distributed Systems What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) - Experience exploring or integrating AI-driven threat detection or automated performance optimization within browser isolation or containerized web environments - Ability to formulate data-driven and business-driven engineering decisions - Proven track record of taking ownership and getting high-quality results in a predictable fashion #LI-GL2 #LI-Hybrid At Zscaler, we are committed to building a team that reflects the communities we serve and the customers we work with.
