Job Profile : Senior Project Engineer - Siemens Buildings Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia About the Role Siemens Smart Infrastructure combines end-to-end energy management with smart building technologies, helping customers cut annual energy consumption while improving occupant comfort. As Senior Project Engineer, you'll lead complex energy efficiency retrofit projects — from opportunity assessment through commissioning and performance verification — across the Kingdom's commercial, industrial, and public-sector facilities. Key Responsibilities Technical Delivery - Lead energy efficiency retrofit projects across offices, industrial sites, healthcare, education, and hospitality facilities - Deliver technical solutions spanning HVAC optimization, chiller plant upgrades, BMS enhancements, lighting retrofits, renewable energy integration, and smart building technologies - Own project planning, engineering design reviews, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover - Support Measurement & Verification (M&V) activities to confirm guaranteed savings Commercial & Stakeholder Management - Develop technical and financial studies, energy models, savings calculations, and investment-grade proposals - Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, vendors, and commissioning specialists - Manage project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and quality assurance processes - Support business development through technical expertise and client-facing presentations - Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and sustainability frameworks throughout delivery Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering (or related discipline) - 8–12+ years' experience in energy efficiency, sustainability, building services, or ESCO project delivery - Demonstrated track record delivering large-scale retrofit and energy performance contracting (EPC) projects - Strong technical grounding in HVAC, electrical systems, controls, building automation, and renewable energy - Certifications such as PMP, CEM, CMVP, or LEED are highly desirable - Our ideal candidate brings core competencies in energy engineering and auditing, retrofit solution design, HVAC and building systems expertise, sustainability and decarbonization strategy, financial analysis and business case development, stakeholder and client relationship management, risk and quality management, and project management.
