Minimum qualifications - B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field, or equivalent experience. - 5 years of experience in technical customer-facing roles supporting cloud or cloud-security products (such as Technical Account Manager, Professional Services, Solutions Engineering, Technical Support, Customer Success Engineer, or Architect). - Experience with cloud services and architecture of at least 1 Cloud Service Provider (CSP), such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI. - Familiarity with container technologies (such as Docker or Kubernetes) and their associated security considerations. - Familiarity with DevOps technologies, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Version Control Systems. - Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems concepts. Preferred qualifications - 8 years of experience in technical customer-facing roles, ideally supporting a cloud / cloud-security product. - Cloud Service Provider (CSP) certification (such as Certified Solutions Architect or Certified DevOps Engineer). - Security certification or professional experience helping organizations address cloud-security challenges. - Familiarity with cloud-security best practices, common threat models, and CNAPP use cases. - Familiarity with operating system runtime sensing. - Experience successfully managing a book of business with 5-10+ customers. - Experience building and maintaining relationships with enterprise clients, driving customer outcomes, and exceeding performance targets. - Experience using data and systems (such as CRM or log analysis tools) to monitor customer health and identify trends to inform success and retention initiatives. - Ability to navigate nebulous job responsibilities while actively contributing to the further refinement of the TAM motion. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive resolution across nebulous internal and external structures. About the job As a Technical Account Manager (TAM), you’ll be responsible for planning and executing strategies to drive customer adoption and use of the Wiz platform. You will provide both strategic and technical guidance to customers throughout the Wiz journey, from onboarding to operationalization through to a successful renewal and expansion. Technical expertise and strong customer-facing skills will be essential in addressing the needs of our customers. Serving as the bridge between customers and the broader Wiz team, you'll streamline collaboration between Product Management, Sales, Engineering, and Support to deliver a cohesive customer experience. Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout customers’ Wiz journey. Guide deployment, configuration, and operationalization of Wiz using best practices and cloud-security domain expertise. Act as primary technical contact for a book of customers, resolving technical questions via email, meetings, Slack, and support tickets. Monitor news related to emerging cloud security threats and stay enabled on new Wiz features. Drive adoption, business value realization, and customer satisfaction; help customers develop success plans with measurable goals aligned to security and compliance objectives. Lead customers toward full adoption and value, addressing cloud, code, and runtime security risk. Accelerate customer success using Wiz platform knowledge to achieve value. Assist in project managing Wiz adoption across business units and stakeholders; unblock adoption by coordinating with internal and external parties. Track and report on progress and results to Wiz and customer stakeholders in executive communications and quarterly business reviews. Advocate for customers by documenting needs to internal teams and capturing feature requests/adoption blockers to prioritize with Product and Engineering. Manage a book of up to 15 customers (varying by size) with a focus on renewals and expansion opportunities; drive utilization/adoption targets and identify risks such as churn and renewal health. Develop close relationships with customer contacts from C-level to practitioners to align Wiz objectives with customer priorities. Contribute to building and scaling a high-performing TAM organization by improving TAM motion, mentoring junior TAMs, and developing technical subject-matter expertise.
