The jobholder is responsible to provide with engineering expertise in leading the Instrumentation Reliability for Borouge\u2019s Plants (B1 /B2/ B3), and Equipment in line with the international engineering standards and best practices to enhance the Operations\u2019 operability, productivity, quality, and capacity. This role includes; to develop or update maintenance strategies, lead or participate in high severity incidents and equipment failures, Asset Criticality Analysis, proactive risk management, perform Reliability Centred Maintenance, End of life management, Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) study of Instrumentation system, bad actor management, standardization of best practices, carrying out analysis of equipment performance, failure data and corrective maintenance history; while ensuring that the Instrumentation Reliability Process is established and maintained. \uF0B7 Coordinate and facilitate Reliability Cantered Maintenance and Instrument Protective Function analysis to optimize equipment and system maintenance strategies. \uF0B7 Develop/improve predictive, preventive, and major maintenance programs for plant equipment/systems in \uF0B7 Introduce Root Cause Analysis techniques and facilitate equipment failure investigations. \uF0B7 Provide guidelines for conducting Root Cause Analysis methodology and software. \uF0B7 Perform troubleshooting, lead, or participate in root cause analysis and design review on equipment failures to identify corrective actions, modifications or required repairs, and implement innovative \uF0B7 Develop and implement the Reliability Management System for the Instrumentation Engineering to ensure a structured consistent, multi-discipline approach to reliability and integrity improvement. \uF0B7 Assist in the development of a comprehensive Maintenance Management System for all Instrument and \uF0B7 Develop and maintain codes of practice and ensure that the standards contained in such codes are thoroughly understood and consistently complied with. \uF0B7 Establish a Reliability, Availability, Integrity threats database on the common shared server. \uF0B7 Develop reliability, availability, and integrity improvement plan in conjunction with Managers and Leads in \uF0B7 Participate in the development of engineering and technical solutions to improve reliability performance of \uF0B7 Identify the Chronic occurrence of equipment failure modes and components. Suggests economical long \uF0B7 Track and implement the Instrumentation reliability recommendations to ensure proper deployment of the \uF0B7 Identify statutory requirements coming as per the government regulation, ADNOC standards, OEM, Suppliers, international standards to produce procedures, work instructions and checklist for various \uF0B7 Propose improvements in business processes and procedures to reduce risk and improve safety \uF0B7 Keep abreast and knowledgeable on the updates for Health, Safety, Environment, Crisis Management, and Risk Registers for all the performed processes, projects, and activities within the operating zone. \uF0B7 Promote, communicate, and lead by example all the safety-related communications, updates, standards, and any related topics with co-workers and within any interface. \uF0B7 Contribute to provide timely feedback and recommendations to leverage a risk-free environment to ensure \uF0B7 Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent engineering disciplines. \uF0B7 Fluency in English Language; written and oral \uF0B7 Minimum of 8 years of total experience in maintenance of Petrochemical, Oil and Gas industry with 4 years working as Senior Engineer in Reliability & troubleshooting. \uF0B7 Minimum of 5 - 8 years of the experience as Reliability Engineer (Instrumentation /Control Engineer). \uF0B7 Working experience in maintenance needs, processes, strategies for equipment and systems in \uF0B7 Working knowledge on HSE policies applicable in chemical & petrochemical industry. \uF0B7 Knowledge and understanding of planning tools, techniques, philosophy, and processes existing in an \uF0B7 Facilitation execution by overcoming barriers and obstacles within the complex projects/conditions. And initiate inter-departmental collaboration on projects or methods of operating. Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent engineering disciplines. Fluent in English (written and spoken). Minimum of 8 years total experience in maintenance of Petrochemical, Oil and Gas industry with 4 years working as Senior Engineer in Reliability & troubleshooting. Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as Reliability Engineer (Instrumentation / Control Engineer). Working knowledge of HSE policies applicable in chemical & petrochemical industry. Knowledge of planning tools, techniques, philosophy, and processes. Ability to facilitate execution and inter-departmental collaboration on complex projects.
