MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE To carry out all 'non destructive testing' on flydubai equipment (as a level 2) in line with all regulatory requirements and company standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Conducts a detailed analysis on all damages reported. Conducts NDT level 2 damage testing on wing. Prepares and submits a detailed reports on the NDT work carried out. Works in coordination with the vendor to ensure that all required NDT is conducted appropriately. Conducts scheduled NDT level 2 testing of all workshop equipment (wheels and brakes). Retains currency on all qualifications and authorizations issued by Regulatory Authorities and flydubai Quality Assurance. Demonstrates an understanding of how to: - Compile and control completed work cards. - Confirm proper accomplishment of maintenance tasks. - Determine required qualifications for task performance. - Ensure continuing airworthiness of aircraft and components. - Identify and rectify existing and potential unsafe conditions. - Identify and properly plan performance of critical maintenance tasks. - Prioritize tasks and report discrepancies. - Process the work requested by the operator. - Properly process removed, uninstalled and rejected Parts. - Properly record and sign for work accomplished. - Split complex maintenance tasks into clear stages. Demonstrates knowledge of: - Applicable officially recognized standards - Critical maintenance tasks and how to confirm their proper accomplishment - CAR-M, CAR-145 and any other relevant Regulations - CDCCL & EWIS when relevant - His/her own human performance and Limitations - Human factors, human performance and Limitations - Incorrect maintenance data and existing or potential defects - Occurrence reporting system and the importance of reporting occurrences - Organization capabilities - Privileges, personnel authorizations and limitations - Relevant parts of the maintenance organization exposition and procedures - Safety risks linked to the working environment . Possesses: - Appropriate behavior and attitude towards safety - Professional integrity .
