Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgy Technology, or an equivalent Professional Qualification. Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills: 5 years of experience in inspection activities related to static equipment and piping within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry. Technical expertise in understanding and interpreting codes, standards, and inspection methods. Experience in QA/QC systems and procedures. Strong knowledge on ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), penetrant testing (PT), and radiography (RT). Knowledge of advanced NDT methods and inspection management systems. Knowledge of API 510, API 579, 580, NACE, and NBIC. (Preferable) Knowledge of design, fabrication, metallurgy, welding, and standards associated with the inspection of Plants’ equipment. Comprehensive knowledge of inspection best practices and technology trends.

Perform on-stream and off-stream inspection activities in line with Inspection Procedures, HSE Management System, Maintenance and Inspection Policies. Execute and interpret all Non-Destructive Testing activities to assess and identify the condition of newly fabricated or in-service equipment and pipes. Follow-up on the execution of repairs and modifications/ PCRs, material selection, welding, painting, insulation and wrapping activities. Assist in estimations of scaffolding/insulation scope requirements. Prepare inspection reports for reviews and approvals. Prepare documentation for the scope of works and issue Welding Inspection and Control Sheets. Perform/witness relevant test requirements prior to final approval. Participate in identifying areas of concern and conduct analyses to recommend remedial measures. Inspect newly procured materials for static assets and components in contact with process fluid, ensuring compliance with specifications, inspection and certification. Supervise materials preservation as required. Participate in failure analysis and RCA. Inspect portable equipment when mobilized by external contractors. Coordinate sample collection related to inspection activities. Participate in project commissioning to highlight remedial actions. Monitor the cathodic protection (CP) system and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate maintenance and updating of Inspection Team Work Orders in the Maintenance Management System. Supervision: Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area; train and develop assigned staff. Budgets: Provide input for budgets and assist in implementation; investigate variances. Policies: Implement policies, processes, standards and procedures; ensure compliance with legislation. Performance Management: Contribute to performance objectives. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Design and implement tools to improve quality and efficiency. HSE & Sustainability: Comply with HSE policies and participate in Emergency Response duties.
