Supervise and ensure the development and consistent application of standards related to Corrosion and\u00A0Metallurgy Management of existing and developed assets and to contribute to high safety and reliability of\u00A0company operations for fulfilment of production targets. \u2022 Lead the corrosion and metallurgy management activities in executing the long term and yearly\u00A0operating plans to provide the required contribution to the achievement to the division and company\u2019s\u00A0objectives. \u2022 Supervise the implementation of performance objectives of the corrosion and metallurgy management\u00A0unit based on establish monitoring mechanisms to ensure that these objectives are delivered. \u2022 Supervise the development, reviews, and effective communication of corrosion and metallurgy\u00A0management related policies, standards and procedures based on ADNOC guidelines and industry\u00A0best practices to effectively build a center of technical excellence in the company and ensure the highest\u00A0quality of the technical solutions and services provided. \u2022 Lead and supervise technical studies, research, and failure analysis in the areas of corrosion and\u00A0metallurgy management to proactively identify areas of improvement and innovation, to incorporate\u00A0lessons learnt as well as to recommend upgrades, modification, and improvements to the existing\u00A0systems in the Operations, Major Projects, and Technical Group. \u2022 Provide direction in corrosion and metallurgy management to internal end users as well as endorse\u00A0plans and changes in specifications of EPC for technical and major projects to ensure consistent\u00A0application of technical standards across company sites and projects. \u2022 Supervise the scheduling of corrosion and metallurgy management activities to ensure timely and\u00A0effective provision of requested engineering services to other company divisions. \u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. \u2022 8 yrs. of experience in corrosion & metallurgy engineering with particular emphasis on corrosion and\u00A0materials monitoring within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry. \u2022 Knowledge of engineering principles related to metallurgy engineering as well as experience in the\u00A0development and reviews of relevant policies, standard and procedures relevant to oil and gas\u00A0industry. \u2022 Good working knowledge and skills in various systems and tools related to corrosion and metallurgy\u00A0engineering. \u2022 Knowledge and experience in industry applicable corrosion codes and standards such as API, ASTM,\u00A0NACE, etc, \u2022 Familiarity of International codes and standards. \u2022 Planning and organizing, scheduling, and coordinating, checking, examining, and recording. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 8 years of experience in corrosion & metallurgy engineering with emphasis on corrosion and materials monitoring within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry. Knowledge of metallurgy engineering principles and experience in development and review of policies, standards and procedures relevant to oil and gas industry. Proficiency with systems and tools related to corrosion and metallurgy engineering. Knowledge and experience in industry applicable corrosion codes and standards such as API, ASTM, NACE, etc; familiarity with international codes and standards. Strong planning, organizing, scheduling, coordinating, checking, examining, and recording abilities.
Lead corrosion and metallurgy management activities to execute long-term and yearly operating plans; supervise performance objectives and monitoring mechanisms; develop, review, and communicate corrosion and metallurgy policies, standards, and procedures based on ADNOC guidelines and industry best practices; lead technical studies, research, and failure analysis to identify improvements and recommend upgrades to existing systems; provide direction to internal end users and endorse EPC specifications for technical and major projects to ensure consistent application of standards; supervise scheduling of corrosion and metallurgy activities to ensure timely provision of engineering services to other divisions.
