ADNOC
Participate and review the design concepts for wells and facilities including the evaluation of options for Offshore operating fields over the life of the development, in addition to integrated production system models. Estimates capital expenditure and operating costs of the wells and facilities over the full life cycle of the field. Asses proposals and schedules for well completions, testing and re-entry and participates in production optimization projects by carrying out, thorough investigation and options for stimulation, hydraulic fracturing, artificial lift and other operations enhancement methods aimed at meeting the company’s oil and gas production objectives. • Review the design concepts for wells and facilities including identified well types (production/injection, vertical, deviated, horizontal, Multi-laterals) configuration and optimizing the total number of wells to meet development concept(s) taking into consideration, tubing, production casing size, need for artificial lift, future re-completion and abandonment requirements. • Provide specialized engineering inputs based on subsurface development scenarios taking into consideration the required capacity, number and location of wells intra-field and export pipelines to optimize the design concept(s) for the surface facilities. • Monitor and conduct reviews on studies done by ADNOC Group companies and its shareholders, SPC companies relevant to field development plans, well construction, completion designs, well production/injection performance, and data gathering programs and recommend actions and techniques to improve FDPs and to optimize operational efficiency. This includes evaluation of tests pressures, flow rates, gas quality, etc., and comparing against well history or known conditions to evaluate the needs and propose further studies as required. • Review proposals in collaboration of Technical center/ Production Functions for hydraulic fracturing, special tests, stimulation, completion, including contractor services and equipment costs. • Participate in the preparation of proposals for all well completions, testing and re-entry programs, or special programs for well stimulation, hydraulic fracturing, artificial lift and corrosion and scaling inhibition. Review well history and verifies wellhead and downhole pressures, flow rates, etc., and propose technologies, innovative studies and designs. Explore and evaluate various techniques, equipment and contractor services in collaboration with the Technical center to optimize implementation programs that fully meet ADNOC’s objectives and requirements for safe, efficient and cost effective operations in new/ ongoing Field Development Plans. • Review production and test data, provide technical feedback on well performance and highlight anomalies for investigation. Evaluate re-entry candidates and remedial options introduced in the drilling/ rig-less operation sequences. Review performance of related well and recommend additional or specialized tests and sample analyses to investigate and recommend short-term solutions or directs further testing and study of more complex problems, as appropriate. Also routinely liaises with Offshore assets to review production data acquisition, analyze procedures and recommends improvement, where feasible. • Coordinate with ADNOC assets to participate and/or review IOR enhancement technologies and studies, and ensure quality of tools and processes for use in fields’ optimization processes of Abu Dhabi oil and gas reservoirs. • Ensure that the practices and solutions falling under the area of responsibility are in full compliance with ADNOCs’ health, safety and environmental policy, procedures, and regulations. • Ensure that ADNOC best practice technical standards are implemented and ensure that codified workflows for analytical processes are being followed. • Provide inputs for the preparation of regular management reports such as the weekly Development Function highlights, Daily production reports, Monthly allocation reports and Drilling/Barge bar chart etc. • Provide inputs for the preparation of Sub-Committee meetings such as (ARPR, PDISC, and TCM) and attend ARPR and PDISC meetings to provide feedback. • Participate in providing recommendations to the Management and work with professionals to develop in-house tools and workflow concepts to achieve ADNOC’s objectives. • Represent ADNOC at technical meetings with Group Companies and its Shareholders, SPC Companies, Contractors, Vendors, Universities, Academic Institutions and other third parties on subjects concerning developed oil & gas reservoirs or ADNOC in general and comment on the petroleum engineering projects carried out by them. • Provide interface and coordinate information flow, data requirements, investigations and projects among Upstream Functions. Attend regular meetings to review project progress and to render advice and guidance within own area of expertise. Follow up on information or inves
