Provision of Professional and Technical support and consultancy services to ADNOC Onshore Operations and Technical Groups on all aspects related to the design, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance and troubleshooting of Cathodic Protection Systems. Ensure external corrosion protection of all buried structures / facilities, Marine structures in contact with Corrosive Environment, Internal protection of tanks and vessels, by application of Cathodic Protection. Establish function procedure and provide advice on all aspects of Cathodic Protection across ADNOC Onshore and ensure its implementation at project stage and during operations. Job covers all aspects of design review, pre-commissioning, commissioning, operation, monitoring, surveys, performance assessment and maintenance of cathodic protection systems. Job Specific: \u2022 Act as the Subject Matter Expert for all Cathodic Protection (CP) related issues. \u2022 Consolidate various standards, develop new function procedure / provide inputs to ADNOC for development of new standards, carry out site visits and obtain feedback from assets and end-users, conduct workshops and obtain stakeholder feedback, obtain approval and implement changes. \u2022 Discuss and agree the best approach to the CP system during the project. Ensure new CP system comply to Company standards. \u2022 Reduce CAPEX and OPEX through utilization of newly developed cost-effective techniques / materials, by combining CP systems for various structures. \u2022 Review project vendors / contractors\u2019 documents, technical queries, etc. \u2022 Prepare/assist in the preparation of scope of work for existing or new contracts. Support in the technical evaluation of bids for CP related contracts. Carry out regular contractor audits to ensure that contracts are implemented as per scope of work. \u2022 Assist Projects teams in the design, construction, and commissioning of CP systems. \u2022 Advise Operations teams on the operation, maintenance, and trouble-shooting of CP systems. \u2022 Lead on the CP system efficiency and effectiveness surveys and studies. Provide technical support for specialized surveys like CPET / CPP for well casings \u2022 Conduct CP system efficiency and effectiveness audits. Evaluate periodic performance of CP system and analyse trends \u2022 Review and endorse periodic Potential Survey reports, CIPS and DCVG & ACVG. \u2022 Administer consultancy contracts related to CP surveys and studies. \u2022 Explore, study, evaluate, assess and propose New Technologies under Tech Road program \u2022 Represent ADNOC Onshore in local, regional, and international events related to CP. Maintain regular contacts with peers and industry experts. \u2022 Participate in knowledge sharing like Al Maaraf, Technical Centre Engineering (Being There) etc. \u2022 Mentor, coach, and develop potential UAE nationals to become skilled in CP and help in achieving Emiratization targets. Minimum Qualification Bachelor's degree in Corrosion Science, Metallurgical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or other relevant engineering and science subjects. Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills 8 years of experience in corrosion engineering design, including at least 5 years in a senior engineering position within the oil and gas industry.
