There are a number of entities and institutions operating under its umbrella, including Port Rashid, Jebel Ali Port, Al Hamriya Port, which are managed by Dubai Ports Authority, in addition to the Department of Planning and Development - Trakhees, the Dubai Maritime ​Authority and the Office of the Marine Agency for Wooden Dhows, as well as the investment arm and security arm of the corporation, represented by Investment Department and Security Department.Job Description CONSTRUCTION SAFETY INSPECTIONConduct field-based construction safety inspections of projects within the PCFC-Trakhees jurisdiction to verify compliance with applicable construction safety standards, regulations, approved permits and No Objection Certificates (NOCs).Adhere to assigned inspection schedules and ensure inspection services are completed within established timelines and service KPIs.Conduct final inspections of construction projects and modification works to support the issuance of required completion approvals, ensuring compliance with Trakhees Construction Safety requirements and approved project drawings. Prepare final inspection reports documenting all site observations and findings.Conduct inspections of construction projects based on online submissions to support the issuance of Night Shift NOCs, site status requests, close-out reports and other related approvals. Verify compliance with Certificates of Conformity at relevant stages of construction and prepare reports in accordance with approved inspection plans and KPIs.Inspect installed equipment, machinery and racking systems prior to commencement of operations, coordinating with clients, installation contractors and consultants to verify compliance with Trakhees-approved designs and applicable safety requirements across industrial and residential projects.Issue violation notices and site inspection reports to contractors and consultants for breaches of construction safety requirements and general site regulations, in accordance with established procedures.Escalate and discuss critical safety matters and significant violations with the Line Manager to ensure timely resolution, mitigate high-risk conditions and prevent further escalation or adverse consequences.Monitor and follow up on all outstanding violation notices and penalties, including unpaid penalties recorded within the FnP system, until formal closure in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.Respond to emergency calls relating to construction activities and conduct inspections and investigations of accidents, incidents and complaints. Coordinate with the Security Department, Dubai Police and other relevant authorities, where applicable, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions to minimise the risk of recurrence.Attend Dubai Courts and Public Prosecution hearings in relation to fatal incidents, where required, and support the completion of associated investigation processes.Prepare, maintain and organise comprehensive inspection and investigation reports and records in accordance with departmental and regulatory requirements, and submit daily inspection records and relevant details to the supervisor.Review third-party pre-qualification applications relating to scaffolding suppliers and training providers, and monitor their compliance and performance through inspection activities.Contribute to the development, review and updating of Construction Safety standards, rules and regulations, procedures, policies and guidelines, ensuring alignment with applicable local, federal and international standards and requirements.
