From sourcing and preparing props to maintaining and managing them throughout a production, you’ll make sure every piece is in the right place, in the right condition, and fits the overall look and feel of the production.We’re looking for someone with an eye for design, strong visual taste, and a creative mindset — someone who can look at a set and know when something feels right (or when it needs a little something extra).You’ll work closely with set designers, production teams, stage managers, costume designers, and other technical teams to bring creative ideas to life. You’ll also manage prop inventories, coordinate with suppliers and vendors, oversee the safe handling and storage of materials, and ensure props are ready when the production calls for them.The role is a mix of creativity, craftsmanship, organization, and hands-on problem-solving — perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands but also cares deeply about how things look and come together on screen or on stage. Qualifications QualificationsBachelor's degree or High school diploma depending on relevant skills.Background or coursework in theatre, art, design, woodworking, interior design, or a related creative field is an advantage.Vocational training or hands-on experience in carpentry, prop making, scenic construction, or a related field is a plus.An associate’s degree in theatre production, scenic design, technical theatre, design, or a related field is advantageous.Knowledge of CAD or graphic design software is a plus.Safety, First Aid, CPR, or related certifications are advantageous.
