Beginning of the main content section.Return to the home pagePrintable Format Job Description - Expert- Dubai Traffic & Roads CEO (26002178)Job Description Expert- Dubai Traffic & Roads CEO - (26002178) Job Description Strategy· Advise the Director and Section Managers on long- and short-term roadworks strategies, contract frameworks, and franchise agreements, ensuring alignment with RTA goals and industry best practices.· Lead horizon scanning activities for emerging smart city, intelligent mobility, and constructiontechnologies; recommend adoption roadmaps and investment priorities.· Prepare technical content for strategic partnership agreements with expert firms, R&D institutes, and universities to maintain the Department’s innovation leadership.· Oversee strategic reports and briefings for the CEO regarding high-impact communications and presentations.Operations· Produce expert reviews of specialized contracts, ongoing projects, claims, and technical issues—proposing modifications to meet departmental objectives and customer satisfaction targets.· Monitor implementation of corporate level operational plans and departmental innovation strategies, ensuring milestones are met within agreed frameworks.· Audit departmental resources, capacity, and performance to verify alignment with targeted KPIs and operational efficiency standards.· Provide guidance and oversight to other team members within the CEO Office or Strategy function, ensuring high-quality outputs and consistency in strategic deliverables.Product / Process Improvement· Create a culture of continuous learning and documentation by promoting knowledge transfer, innovation workshops, and intellectual property registration for departmental ideas and initiatives.· Coordinate with the Knowledge & Innovation Department to measure and improve innovation maturity levels.· Prepare and present case studies for international and local conferences, showcasing successes and lessons learned.Physical Working Conditions· Predominantly office based with occasional travel to external sites or events as required.
