Beginning of the main content section.Return to the home pagePrintable Format Job Description - Chief Engineer - Awir District - Inspection and Monitoring (25001833)Job Description Chief Engineer - Awir District - Inspection and Monitoring - (25001833) Job Description · Study and implement the allocation of inspection routes for inspectors for all inspections and activities according to the inputs of field inspection plan.· Prepare action plans for all operations and activities and suggest necessary changes.· Develop methods of communication and coordination between consultants, contractors and related organizational units in the authority regarding all matters related to violations, infringements and violations, obstacles and service facilities, and field inspection of the right of way.· Preparing and implementing plans for the planned annual inspection campaigns in coordination with the internal and external departments, if necessary, and preparing reports of the outputs of the inspection campaigns accordingly.· Evaluate, review and analyze corporate processes in the section using approved key performance indicators to determine the efficiency and make recommendations when necessary.· Reviewing legislations related to the section's tasks periodically and according to developments and submitting recommendations to the section’s manager.· Supervise the preparation of draft agreements and memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with internal departments in the agency and authority in addition to other governmental/semi-governmental authorities concerning Inspection in right of way.· Investigate objections and complaints submitted by the various organizational units or external bodies concerned to take the necessary measures in this regard and refer the results of the investigation of the main complaints with suggestions to the section manager.· Implementation of the authority's policies, legislations, regulations, directives, and procedures related to inspection related to Right of Way and the applicable standards therein.· Organizing and distributing work and directing team members, as well as coordinating and following up the implementation of all daily work to ensure that work is performed in accordance with the approved programs and according to the required professional levels.· Participate in workshops on inspection on the right of way consultants and contractors concerned, and answering their questions and inquiries in this regard objectively and transparently.· Developing and evaluating policies and regulations for inspection and oversight on the right of way and striving to develop them according to the requirements and needs of the work, in coordination with the relevant organizational units in the Authority and the concerned authorities.· Raise development initiatives with focus on IT related initiatives that would achieve the integration of inspection operations on the right of way.· Carrying out field visits to carry out the task of auditing inspections and ensuring that they are implemented according to the approved plan and evaluate its quality.· Ensure the section compliance in executing all the requirements of the Disciplinary Inspection Policy periodically.· Carrying out root cause analysis studies of the inspection outputs, such as recurrence of violations, and submitting study recommendations to the section manager.· Any additional responsibilities as advised by the direct Line Manager or Head of Department.· Follow up the section’s performance in the evaluation of RTA Maturity Model for Regulatory Inspections and ensure all corrective plans are taken and all audit NCRs are closed accordingly.
