Network Engineer

Role Purpose Operate and support the entity's network and connectivity services, including local and wide-area networks, routing, switching, wireless, firewalls and secure connectivity. The role provides onsite coordination for physical dependencies, service providers and critical network incidents. Key Responsibilities Administer LAN, WAN, routing, switching, wireless, VPN and network-security components within the approved scope. Monitor network health, capacity and availability and respond to alerts, incidents and performance degradation. Troubleshoot connectivity across offices, data centres, hosted environments and approved external services. Coordinate approved changes with the entity, telecom providers, TDRA and other relevant parties. Maintain network diagrams, IP plans, configuration baselines, inventories, backups and operational runbooks. Support firewall-rule, segmentation and secure-connectivity activities in coordination with cybersecurity. Contribute to resilience, capacity, failover and disaster-recovery testing. Participate in agreed on-call coverage for critical network incidents.
