Construction Manager - Electrical - BESS

Job Purpose Support the Construction Manager in executing all electrical construction activities for BESS projects, ensuring safe, timely, quality and compliant execution as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedules. Key Responsibilities - Manage and coordinate electrical installation activities for BESS, MV/LV systems, transformers, PCS/inverters, switchgear, cables, earthing and auxiliary systems. - Plan and monitor daily/weekly construction activities against the approved schedule. - Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Procurement, T&C and subcontractor teams. - Supervise subcontractors and monitor manpower, materials, equipment and productivity. - Ensure installation complies with approved drawings, specifications, applicable standards and client requirements. - Review method statements, ITPs and risk assessments for electrical works. - Coordinate inspections, testing, NCR resolution and punch-point closure with QA/QC. - Coordinate with vendors for equipment installation, inspection, testing and technical support. - Support pre-commissioning, commissioning and energization activities. - Monitor progress, identify constraints/delays and implement corrective actions. - Coordinate with client/consultant for inspections, approvals and technical issues. - Maintain progress reports, site records and as-built documentation. - Ensure strict compliance with HSE requirements and electrical safety procedures.
