We’re looking for a Purchasing Buyer who is organised, commercially aware and confident working with suppliers and hotel departments. Reporting to the Purchasing Supervisor and Purchasing Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day purchasing needs of the resort, helping us secure the right quality, quantity and value while keeping our purchasing process accurate, timely and compliant. A little taste of your day-to-day: Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be: • Sourcing products and obtaining competitive quotations from approved and potential suppliers • Comparing prices, quality, specifications, availability and delivery timelines to support purchasing decisions • Preparing and processing purchase orders accurately and within required timelines • Coordinating with departments to understand specifications, quantities and operational requirements • Following up with suppliers on pending orders, deliveries and any quality or supply concerns • Maintaining professional and ethical relationships with suppliers • Keeping supplier information, purchase orders, quotations and supporting documents accurate and properly filed • Monitoring pending purchase requisitions and outstanding or unserved purchase orders • Supporting the Purchasing Supervisor and Purchasing Manager with day-to-day procurement activities and cost-saving opportunities • Ensuring purchasing activities follow hotel policies, approval procedures and internal controls What We need from you: •
