JOB PURPOSE: To lead on BAU (Business-As-Usual) processes for the Capital Management Function and take responsibility for building out components of automated Balance Sheet and Capital Forecasting Work with and support Business functions across all Capital planning aspects including RWA and Capital allocation at a Business, Legal Entity and international level To provide support on projects across Group Treasury including Balance Sheet and Capital Optimisation with internal and external stakeholders KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Lead and manage monthly reporting processes including Equity Charge mechanism, Legal entity capital morning, RWA and Return (RoC) hurdle analysis. Solve and lead on ad-hoc capital planning projects including Intra-Group dividend, KRIs etc, AT1 dividends, book capital funding tickets. Enhanced structural FX risk monitoring and capital impact of net investments value are monitored and optimised where applicable. Ensure all Policies, SOPs, Business Continuity and Operational Risk exercises are up to date. Recommend methodology changes to enhance returns and capital optimisation across the Group. Maintain capital and balance sheet rolling forecasts and assist annual Budget process including Business and legal entity Capital and RWA allocations. Lead key benchmark and peer analysis, presenting to Senior Management on market observations and key recommendations. Review Stress capital planning outputs and review risk appetite thresholds on a periodic basis. Provide assistance across Group Treasury as required. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Minimum Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent would be beneficial but not mandatory Professional accounting qualification would be beneficial but not mandatory. Additional qualifications such as CFA, FRM beneficial but not mandatory Minimum Experience 5+ years Banking Experience across relevant Finance, Treasury or Business segments Strong knowledge of banking products across Consumer, Commercial and Investment Banking would be beneficial. Experienced and well verse with reporting/ analytics processes in Group Finance function in finance sector Strong data analytics skills and problem-solving skills Willingness to develop data and management information through Excel and relevant technical platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface with cross functional teams. Experience of Basel capital, liquidity, and funding (CBUAE) requirements would be beneficial.
